How will my purchase be delivered?
Artworks are professionally packed by Artiveau. The way of packing and delivery depends on the type of work. Think of work that is still framed, or just a separate lithograph.
Where does Artiveau ship to?
We ship worldwide. Certain countries may require designated art carriers.
Which carriers does Artiveau use?
Depending on the size of your artwork, the weight, the value or the country, we determine which carrier we use for each sale. Think of professional carriers such as FedEx Art.
How are shipping costs calculated?
Shipping costs are calculated separately because this differs per size and weight of the work and final destination. If you want clarity about this, please contact us BEFORE you buy the work, so that there is no ambiguity about this. However, we will certainly do our best to use the most optimal shipping method for you.
Shipping costs Europe
Holland and Belgium € 15,- and ABOVE € 750,- FREE OF SHIPPING
Germany and France € 20,-
Rest Europe € 30,-
When will my order be shipped and delivered?
Processing and shipping times depend on the destination of the purchased artwork. Packages are generally shipped within 5 business days of payment. You will receive an electronic notification and tracking number via email once your purchase has shipped.
Why can a shipment be delayed?
This may relate to shipping outside the European Union.
Shipments may be delayed for a number of unforeseen reasons, e.g. problems with customs clearance procedures. Please make sure to check your country’s international import regulations before placing an order. Artiveau is not liable for any costs incurred.
Can I combine several items in one shipment?
The works of art offered on Artiveau come from our own depot. If you are interested in more than one work and would like to combine several items in one purchase, please contact us by email through our Contact form. We are happy to help you.
Why do I have to sign for my package?
Due to the valuable nature of the artwork, all packages must be accepted and signed upon delivery. Artiveau is not responsible for unattended packages.
Is the art you send insured?
Our basic shipping insurance is applied and covers door to door handling. Any risk of loss or physical damage to the artwork due to external causes during transport is therefore insured.
Why do you have separate shipping methods for the Netherlands and Belgium?
The Netherlands and Belgium are relatively small countries, and since we also travel a lot through these countries, we offer custom shipping methods for Belgium and the Netherlands.
We also have a Dutch Artiveau website for this purpose.
